CCFB Announces Amateur Photo Contest

The beauty (and even humor) of rural life comes into focus with Clinton County Farm Bureau’s first photo contest.  It’s a chance for you, as a member, to capture your favorite images showcasing the rich diversity of our county’s agricultural landscape and its people.  It’s a great way to show off your favorite photos, and maybe even win a prize.

The contest is for amateurs only and is open to Clinton County Farm Bureau members and their families, ages 6 and up.  Make sure your photos were taken in Clinton County sometime from 2021 through the contest deadline in 2022 (August 1st).

There are two categories to inspire you – “Kids, Crops, & Critters” and “Country Living”.  If that’s not enough, maybe some cash incentives will help get you going!  The 1st place winner in each category will receive $50 cash; 2nd place in each category gets $25; and “Peoples’ Choice” wins $75 (chosen through a social media/online campaign).

Winning photos will be published on the Farm Bureau page of the Union Banner, posted on our Facebook page and website, and displayed at our Annual Meeting in January 2023.  You may even find your submitted photo(s) utilized as local imagery on our organization’s website or other marketing pieces.

Official contest rules and the online entry form is available here.  So start capturing your favorite photos this spring and contact our office at (618) 526-7235 or [email protected] with any contest questions.

Entries must be submitted by August 1st, so what are you waiting for? Start snapping those photos today!
