29 Sep Young Leaders Donate to Food Pantry
The Clinton CFB Young Leader (YL) Committee recently used funding from their 50/50 drawing during our CFB Annual Meeting and a distribution of District “Harvest for All” funds to purchase and donate approximately 70-lbs worth (approximately $300) of ground beef to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in Germantown.
Our YL’s are looking forward to expanding efforts in 2023-24 to work with the local FFA Chapters and the Collegiate Farm Bureau to hold a food drive challenge to recruit additional donations to help local food pantries stock the shelves.
