“Pulling for Agriculture” event planned for Sept. 14

The Clinton County Farm Bureau will be hosting an ITPA Tractor Pull on Saturday, September 14 at the Clinton County Fairgrounds in Carlyle.

The “Pulling for Agriculture” is a fundraiser for the Clinton CFB’s charitable Foundation and the establishment of a new Ag Mechanics Scholarship.

The event will include four ITPA pulling classes:

• 9,500 lb. Limited Pro Stock
• 8,500 lb. Limited Pro Stock
• 2WD Truck
• 11,000 lb. Pro Farm

A “King of Clinton County” Pull will also be held in conjunction with this event. Classes will include:

• 7,500 lb Farm Stock
• 10,500 lb Farm Stock
• 12,500 lb Farm Stock
• SI Pullers 12,500 lb Hot Farm Stock
• SI Pullers 5,500 lb Top Cut Class.

Funds will be raised from pull entry, gate admission, and a “Battle of the Brands” raffle.
