2025 Community Impact Grant Winners Announced

2025 Community Impact Grant Winners Announced

Clinton County Farm Bureau’s 5th annual “Community Impact Grant” program sought to identify projects that would improve our communities and create partnerships with other groups and organizations to make them happen. We had an outstanding response this year, receiving thirteen (13) applications that requested over $28,000. Even with awarding more than the original $5,000 budgeted for our program, we could still only fund portions of many of the projects that were awarded this year.

Projects awarded grant funding for 2025 include:

  • Albers Elementary Booster Club was awarded $1,000 to replace the current, outdated and breaking school playground. Funds will be used toward the purchase of new playground equipment, monkey bars, rubber mulch, and timbers.
  • All Saints Academy was awarded $320.65 for their third grade to construct a community garden that will teach students about helping others meet their needs and strengthen community ties by planting a garden and donating the produce to a local food pantry.  The funds will be used to buy gardening tools, seeds, mulch, and gardening supplies.
  • Beckemeyer Elementary School & Breese Dist. 12 was awarded $400 to replace the current Little Free Library located in Beckemeyer. Funds will be used to purchase a more weather-resistant library.
  • Bethlehem Lutheran Church was awarded $1,400 for playground equipment repairs. The current playground equipment is used by residents of Ferrin as well as children of the parish. Funds would be used to replace the panels and platforms that are in need of replacement.
  • Breese Historical Society was awarded $500 to expand the Judge Sidney Breese project. The funds will be used to purchase several books authored by Judge Sidney Breese to help research and expand upon their existing project.
  • Chakota Therapeutic Riding Center was awarded $2,000 for barn and stall repairs. Grant funds will be used to purchase the materials for the repair of the barn walls.
  • Damiansville Community Development was awarded $1,500 for park improvements. Grant funds will be used to provide bongo drums, a balance beam piece, and ride-on bouncers for children.
  • Germantown Historical Society was awarded $600 for renovations to the Germantown Historical Society Building. Funds will be used to construct a concrete walk from the road to the building, finish the inside of the building, and start a website.

Congratulations to all recipients of Clinton CFB’s 2025 “Community Impact Grant” program! We appreciate the opportunity to work with great organizations and individuals on projects to improve our communities and look forward to seeing them make a difference. To-date, the Clinton CFB has awarded $27,270.65 in grant funding for 28 community projects.
