Dairy Tech Tour Set for July 16

The Illinois Milk Producers Association will host its annual Dairy Tech Tour at Henrichs Dairy in Breese on July 16.

Henrichs Dairy recently installed a new 40-cow rotary milking parlor. Attendees will hear presentations from those involved with the project, learn about the equipment used and have the opportunity to ask questions about the siting process and considerations for similar projects. Tours of the farm’s new freestall barn and an inside look at how it functions within the dairy operation will also be highlights of the event.

Tours begin at 10 a.m., followed by lunch and presentations at noon and self-guided tours at 1 p.m.
