The Clinton County Farm Bureau (CFB) will host the annual Yield Survey Report meeting on Monday, August 28th in Breese. Members of the Clinton CFB’s Marketing Committee will conduct the Fall Yield Survey of the county’s corn crop during the day, then the program will begin with dinner at 7:00 p.m. that night at the Farm Bureau office in Breese.
After dinner, Marketing Committee Chairman Cliff Schuette and others will report on their findings from the surveyed county fields earlier that day. Teams of 2 to 3 will depart from the Farm Bureau office at 9:00 a.m. that morning to take representative yield checks from corn fields throughout the county. Survey teams will then bring their reports back to the office to be compiled and presented that evening.
Following yield reporting, we are also working on an in-person or virtual speaker for a quick Market Outlook update. Tickets are $5.00 each and must be purchased in advance by contacting the Farm Bureau office at 526-7235 or you can RSVP online using the QR code above or completing the online registration form here.
