19 May Membership Photo Contest Underway
The beauty (and even humor) of rural life comes into focus with Clinton County Farm Bureau’s 4th annual photo contest. It’s a chance for you, as a member, to capture your favorite images showcasing the rich diversity of our county’s agricultural landscape and its people. It’s a great way to show off your favorite photos, and maybe even win a prize.
The contest is for amateurs only and is open to Clinton County Farm Bureau members and their families, ages and up. Make sure your photos were taken in Clinton County sometime from August 2024 through the contest deadline in 2025 (August 1st).
There are two categories to inspire you:
- The Farm Life – Give us a glimpse into what “life on the farm” means to you. Show us the farmyard, farm friends, farm hands, farm smiles, farm tractors, farm pets, farm crops, farm whatever… We want it all!
- Together We Grow – Highlight the relationships between farmers, local communities, and the food they produce. This could include farmers markets, farmers helping each other, or celebrating harvests together. Show the dedication and effort that farmers put into their work, including photographs of planting, harvesting, or caring for livestock.
If that’s not enough, maybe some cash incentives will help get you going! The 1st place winner in each category will receive $50 cash; 2nd place in each category gets $25; and “Peoples’ Choice” wins $75 (chosen through a social media/online campaign).
Winning photos may be published in our Membership Newsletter, posted on our Facebook page and website, and displayed at our Annual Meeting in January 2026. You may even find your submitted photo(s) utilized as local imagery on our organization’s website or other marketing pieces.Official contest rules and the online entry form is available HERE.
