Adult Ag in the Classroom series kicks off

The first session of this year’s Adult Ag in the Classroom workshop series was held last night, and it was a wonderful success. Participants gathered to learn how to repurpose old sweaters into festive fall pumpkins. Each project reflected the creativity and style of its maker, and it was inspiring to see how uniquely different—and equally amazing—each one turned out.

Adult Ag in the Classroom workshops are designed to bring people together for hands-on activities that highlight creativity, agriculture, and community. They offer a chance not only to learn a new skill but also to connect with others in a fun and welcoming setting.

Looking ahead, our next workshop will be Holiday Porch Pots. To allow more people to join us, this event will be hosted at Central High School with space for up to 50 participants. Registration will open November 1, and we encourage you to sign up early to reserve your spot.

We look forward to continuing another great year of Adult Ag in the Classroom!
