Carly Etter Awarded $2,500 Veterinarian Scholarship from Clinton County Farm Bureau

Carly Etter has been awarded a $2,500 Veterinarian Scholarship from the Clinton County Farm Bureau, recognizing her dedication to veterinary medicine and her commitment to supporting local agriculture.

Carly, daughter of Mark and Francine Etter of Breese, is a 2019 graduate of Mater Dei High School, a 2023 graduate of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, and a current veterinary student at University of Illinois pursuing of a dual degree combining a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master’s in public health at the University of Illinois.

Carly, aspires to become a field research veterinarian, helping identify and relieve disease outbreaks on local farms in the community post-graduation in 2027. Her passion for animal health and public service has been demonstrated through her academic achievements and hands-on experiences in the field.

The Clinton County Farm Bureau awards this scholarship to students who show promise as future leaders in veterinary medicine, particularly those committed to improving the health and welfare of animals in agricultural settings. Carly’s dedication and vision make her a deserving recipient, and the Farm Bureau congratulates her on this achievement.
