Members of the Albers Booster Club recently met with Clinton County Farm Bureau Director Ray Krausz to receive the club’s Community Impact Grant check. The Booster Club was awarded $1,000 to purchase new playground equipment for Albers Elementary School. The equipment has now been installed and will benefit children both at school and throughout the community by helping them strengthen their gross motor skills. The updated playground supports a variety of developmental activities, including climbing, balancing, and building physical strength, while also providing more opportunities for cooperative play and social growth.
Breese Dist. 12 also received a Community Impact Grant. Allison Netemeyer, third-grade teacher with Breese Dist. 12, met with CCFB Director Ron Holevoet at the newly updated Little Library in Beckemeyer to accept the school’s check. The upgraded library is built from durable composite materials and is located at Cynthiana’s Farm Market, whose owner generously allowed the school to place it on-site. This location is ideal—centrally positioned in town and serving as a convenient bus stop for local families.
The Clinton County Farm Bureau (CCFB) committed up to $5,000 to support community improvement projects in 2025 through its Community Impact Grant program. This program is designed to identify meaningful projects that enhance our local communities while fostering partnerships with groups and organizations dedicated to making those improvements a reality. Be on the lookout for details about the 2026 Community Impact Grant program coming in March.
