The Clinton County Farm Bureau will host its annual Yield Survey Meeting on Tuesday, September 9, at the Farm Bureau office in Breese.
During the day, members of the Farm Bureau’s Marketing Committee will conduct the annual Fall Yield Survey of cornfields across the county. The event will culminate in an evening program, beginning with dinner at 7:00 p.m., followed by a presentation of the survey results.
Marketing Committee Chairman Cliff Schuette, along with other committee members, will share the findings from the day’s fieldwork. In addition to the yield report, attendees will also hear from guest speakers discussing timely topics including:

Updates on the new precision agriculture program at Kaskaskia College
Tickets are $5.00 and must be purchased in advance by contacting the Farm Bureau office at (618) 526-7235 or by registering online.
All area farmers and interested community members are encouraged to attend this informative event.
