The Clinton County Farm Bureau (CFB) Foundation is currently accepting applications from our member families. The number and dollar amount of scholarships awarded each year varies depending upon the number of applications received and availability of funds. In 2025, nineteen (19) students received a total of $29,000 from scholarships ranging in value from $500 to $3,000.
Scholarships are open to graduating seniors and college students who have not yet received their undergraduate degree. Past recipients may re-apply, but no student may win more than two (2) scholarships from the Clinton CFB Foundation.
Detailed requirements are provided on the online application, but scholarship applicants must be from a Clinton CFB member family (minimum 1 year), be a resident of Illinois, and be enrolled in an agriculture-related field of study.
A link to the online scholarship application has been sent to guidance counselors and Ag teachers at every high school in the county. Application link is also available on our website: www.clintoncofb.org.
Applications and supporting documentation must be submitted online by midnight on March 15, 2025.
To-date, the Clinton CFB Foundation has awarded over 565 ag-related scholarships (totaling $526,300), an additional $42,000 in specific Veterinarian scholarships, and over $98,000 in classroom grants for teachers. As a 501(c) (3) charity, your donations to support our local efforts may be tax-deductible per IRS guidelines.
